Return timing guide

Use the warehouse return window before uncertainty becomes freight.

A plain-language decision order for checking the item, eligibility, evidence and likely costs while a warehouse return may still be possible.

PikoBuy’s public return terms describe a five-day—or 120-hour—application period for eligible goods after an order changes to “In Warehouse”. That is a review window, not an automatic promise that every item can be returned. Seller rules, product type, condition and the reason for the request still matter.

Start the clock from warehouse status

The practical mistake is waiting until parcel submission to review an item. Once warehouse photos are available, record the status time and inspect the highest-risk facts first. Confirm the product identity, selected colour, size, quantity and obvious damage before spending time on minor cosmetic preferences.

A spreadsheet row cannot preserve return eligibility. It may help you remember the intended product, but the live order and warehouse evidence determine what actually arrived. Keep the row, the selected option and the warehouse photos together so the comparison is clear.

The official policy says the 120-hour count starts from the next hour after the status changes to “In Warehouse”. That detail makes passive waiting risky. Open the photo set when it becomes available, record the time, and identify any missing evidence on the first review. If you need another angle or measurement, requesting it early leaves more time for a response.

Understand what “eligible” actually requires

The PikoBuy policy does not describe one blanket right to return every warehouse item. For a standard returnable product, it says the seller must offer the guarantee, the item must remain in the resale condition the seller requires, and the warehouse period must not exceed five days. Seller consent is still necessary before PikoBuy can send the item back.

The published exception list includes customised products, second-hand goods, intimate apparel, adult products, food, certain overseas-sourced goods and products separately excluded by a seller. Other categories have special packaging conditions. Cosmetics, personal-care goods, electronics, cameras, books, games and collectibles can lose eligibility when seals, labels or packaging are disturbed. Read the category conditions before asking for tags, seals or protective parts to be removed.

Eligibility comes before preference

The published terms explain that some goods may not qualify because of seller policy, product condition or category. Customised products, goods affected by use, missing packaging and other seller-defined exceptions can change the outcome. Do not assume that “still in the warehouse” means “freely returnable”.

For a personal-reason return, PikoBuy’s published information says costs can include return shipping, the seller’s original domestic shipping and an RMB 5 service fee. The exact amount and process should be checked in the current order interface. The purpose of this guide is to identify the decision early, not to predict an approval.

The policy’s standard formula for an unconditional return is explicit: shipping back to the seller, the seller’s original shipping fee and an RMB 5 service charge. It also warns that the original domestic delivery fee can become payable even where the seller advertised free shipping. That does not mean every case will cost the same; it means “free return” should never be assumed from the original listing banner.

Responsibility changes the evidence and likely fee

The official table separates customer reasons from seller reasons and other causes. “I no longer want it”, buying the wrong option, buying too many or finding the international freight higher than expected are listed as customer-side situations. A wrong colour or size sent by the seller, or a visible quality issue such as a hole or stain, is listed differently.

That distinction is why the return reason should match the evidence. If the order shows size 42 and the warehouse label shows size 41, attach both facts. If the concern is a stain, identify the image and location. Do not select a stronger reason merely because it appears cheaper; inaccurate claims weaken the request and make the record harder to resolve.

Priority orderWrong item or option → visible damage → missing quantity or parts → measurement mismatch → cosmetic concern.

Build evidence that answers one question

A useful request is specific. “This looks wrong” is weaker than a comparison showing the selected option, the warehouse label and the visible mismatch. If damage is involved, identify where it appears and which photo shows it. If measurements matter, compare the live size information with a warehouse measurement rather than relying on a letter-size label alone.

  • Save the order number and time the warehouse status appeared.
  • Preserve the selected variant, quantity and price shown at purchase.
  • Mark the warehouse photo that demonstrates the concern.
  • Request a useful additional angle or measurement when the existing evidence is inconclusive.
  • Read the current seller and platform conditions before submitting the request.

Keep the evidence small and decisive. One image showing the selected option and one warehouse image showing the mismatch can be more useful than twenty screenshots without labels. State what outcome you are requesting and leave room for the seller or support team to verify it.

Forwarded goods follow a different after-sales boundary

PikoBuy’s shipping terms describe self-forwarding as obtaining a warehouse address, submitting a forwarding form, waiting for warehouse receipt and photos, and then submitting the parcel. The same terms say PikoBuy does not provide after-sales service for forwarded goods; the customer must contact the original sender or seller, while PikoBuy can only help ship the goods back.

Do not apply the purchasing-order return assumptions to a product that you arranged to send to the warehouse yourself. Identify the order type first, then contact the party responsible for the sale. This one distinction can save valuable time inside a seller’s own return deadline.

Do not let shipping urgency distort the decision

International shipping is a second payment stage in PikoBuy’s public beginner workflow. Paying freight does not improve a questionable item. A bulky wrong-size jacket or a damaged shoe box can also increase parcel cost, so the warehouse review protects both product value and later shipping value.

Conversely, a minor packaging issue may not justify return costs when the product itself is correct and the retail box is unnecessary. Separate product problems from packaging preferences and compare the likely return cost with the item’s usefulness.

The official terms also say an account balance must be sufficient to cover applicable return shipping and fees. Check this before submitting. A request can be factually justified and still stall if the required balance or seller consent is missing.

What happens after the request

PikoBuy’s policy says it can return the product only with the seller’s consent and that the refund is based on the actual product price paid. It does not promise an instant refund the moment a buyer clicks the return button. Domestic transport back to the seller, receipt, seller confirmation and payment processing can all be separate events in the record.

Keep the product order, return request, fee deduction and refund record together until the process finishes. If a seller rejects the request, read the reason before escalating. The useful question is not merely “Was it rejected?” but “Which eligibility, condition or evidence point was disputed?”

A five-minute decision worksheet

  1. Does the product and selected variant match the order?
  2. Is the concern visible, measurable or supported by another record?
  3. Is the product likely eligible under the current seller and platform rules?
  4. What costs may apply if the return is accepted?
  5. Is additional evidence required before the 120-hour period ends?
  6. Would keeping the item still make sense after international freight?

Three examples that clarify the rule

Wrong seller shipment: the order records a blue medium hoodie, while the warehouse label and photographs show a black small. Preserve the selected option and intake evidence, then submit the seller-caused mismatch promptly. Changed mind: the correct new item arrived, but the buyer no longer wants it. Check seller eligibility and budget for the published unconditional-return costs. Bulky parcel surprise: the item is correct but international shipping looks too high. The policy lists this as a customer-side reason, so freight regret does not automatically transfer the return cost to the seller.

Submit a return request only through the current PikoBuy order process and follow the instructions displayed there. This independent site cannot approve returns or see an account. Its role is to help readers ask the right questions while options may still exist.
